Wine goes hand in hand with exercises
Short and on the subject of red wine prevents heart disease, but only in people who regularly exercise. And what about white wine?
The research of Czech professor Milosz Taborsky does not just deny, but rather clarify the conviction that took root in our minds in the 1960s, and which sounds red wine reduces the risk of heart disease by raising the level of good HDL cholesterol.
During the study, it was observed that the consumption of wine (both red and white!) Does not raise HDL levels, but it reduces the level of bad cholesterol (LDL), and the total cholesterol level only if drinking red wine.
Unfortunately, drinking wine alone does not bring health benefits, because only raising HDL levels prevents heart disease. And this effect was achieved only by people who not only drank wine, but also regularly moved at least twice a week! In these people, after one year of research, an increase in HDL was observed with a simultaneous decrease in the level of total cholesterol and LDL, regardless of whether they drank red or white wine.
It is worth noting that for the wine to serve the heart, its consumption should be moderate, and this means that women should not exceed 0.2 liters a time and men 0.3 liters of wine, which should be drunk no more than five times a week.
